Work process. Some details.

Graphit’s work process

Writing and Design

Your graphit journey starts with a simple enquiry explaining the nature of your scientific needs. From there, we will assign the team member best suited to handle your project and take you through our Meet, Plan, Draft and Repeat process.

Meet: Catering to your needs and availability, we are happy to meet and discuss your project via email, phone, zoom or in person if circumstances allow

Plan: From here we will get to grips with the ‘nitty gritty’ of your project. A more detailed understanding of your expectations and project requirements are established. Deadline and budget are also discussed at this stage and we will do our best to be as flexible as we can. We greatly value the privacy and confidentiality of your work and will always do our utmost to establish a transparent working process that fully preserves that. Once we have all the information required to realise your project needs we will immediately proceed to the drafting process.

Draft: With the aim of minimally impacting your time, we will give you the opportunity to review, correct or expand on preliminary as well as advanced versions of the project.

Repeat: We are happy to repeat the drafting process and to continue developing your project vision until we surpass your expectations.

Once your project is finalised and you are satisfied (and payment is received), we will send it over to you in its required format.

How long will it take to complete the work

This will completely depend on the project needs. We handle everything between small projects (hours) to larger ones (weeks). We can provide an estimate for this at the Plan stage of the process.

Copyrights of the work generated

Everything belongs to you. We will be editing your texts, your data representations or your graphic abstracts. For texts we send back the documents you gave us with all the changes tracked so that you can decide what to accept. Your data representations will be accompanied by a log file where we tracked all the changes we made so that you can clearly understand how your core data is still unaltered. Your graphic abstracts will be delivered in a jpeg format, unless discussed in the beginning of the project that you wish to have vector-based files.

Confidentiality agreements

Unpublished and unlicensed (patented) data are extremely sensitive pieces of information, and we understand that. We agree to work with datasets that you censored to protect sensitive information and we will sign upon request confidentiality agreements.

Project costs

At the Plan stage of the process, we will give you a rough estimate of the projected costs. We can at this point decide if we will be working together or not. Take a look into our Services page for a comprehensive overview of our pricing.
