We think of scientific design and editing not as single practices, but as several interlocking ones. Figures are inseparable from how they are described, illustrations are indistinguishable from the science, and improving both is our mission. Project descriptions can vary, our job is to always bring the best out of your science.
As partners, we strive for honesty and clarity. Our first job is to understand the client’s vision and needs, not to present our own. We value timelines, direct communication and drafts over presentations.
We have been fortunate to collaborate with some excellent scientists on some truly impactful projects, helping to deliver scientifically and visually striking publications. All the effort put into the science to generate a manuscript will only reach its full potential if that science is communicated clearly and effectively. How useful your work will be to society also depends on how good it reads, how clear and crisp the figures are and how many people you can broadcast it to.

Pricing*
Writing
Tier 1 writing support starting at € 500
Ideal for works that mainly need language correction, document formatting and fine tuning. Includes 5 clocked editing hours.
Tier 2 writing support starting at € 1000
Appropriate for works that on top of the tier 1, also require some degree of scientific consulting such as a literature check. Includes 10 editing hours.
Workshops
We prepare our seminars to cater to each specific institution’s needs. We can combine several topics of interest for your particular institution and adapt them to both the knowledge level of the audience and the number of participants.
Tier 1 seminar starting at € 1000
Up to 3 hour seminar. Up to 10 participants.
Tier 2 seminar starting at € 1500
Up to 3 hour seminar. Up to 20 participants.
Tier 3 seminar starting at € 3000
Up to 10 hour seminar over the course of 2 days. Up to 50 participants.
Design and outreach
Where Graphit dishes out the highest output in the smallest time compared to the competition. We deliver within 5 business days on a clocked hourly fee of € 150. Urgent projects and complex animations or videos will be charged differently.
Scientific coaching
For degree-awarding institutions: coaching package of 10 individuals, during 1 year with up to 10 hours per individual. € 20000
For individuals: price set upon quote request after a free exploration meeting of 30 min.
